DTRIC Insurance Company
Treasurer
Responsible for the overall operations and management of the Treasury Unit within the Finance department.  Duties include timely and accurate processing of daily cash and investment related transactions; directing and managing financial planning and cash positions, procurement, collections and investment administration; and designing, implementing and refining internal control and procurement policies and procedures to ensure safeguarding of assets, and ensuring that transactions are made in accordance with policies and procedures.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting or Finance, minimum of three years supervisory experience and minimum of five years progressive experience in treasury operations including but not limited to cash processing, investment administration or treasury management and reporting required.  CPA preferred.

Sales and Service Supervisor
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Service Supervisor for our contact center with the ability to turn leads into sales. Effectively manage and coach sales and service staff to ensure that all team members are meeting and exceeding benchmark goals.  Oversees the contact center operations to ensure compliance with company policy and state regulations.

Minimum of three years concentrated Contact Center management and sales/service supervision experience which includes training and coaching staff to achieve production goals, preferably in insurance.  Minimum of two years automobile and homeowners product knowledge.


Personal Lines Underwriter
Responsibilities include underwriting and evaluating assigned book of personal lines home, auto and umbrella business within established guidelines, assure rate adequacy for risk selection and continuance on risk, research and respond to underwriting and service issues.  Must be able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines and use sense of judgment when making decisions.  Minimum two years personal lines underwriting experience with a local or national insurance carrier required. 

Underwriting Technician
DTRIC Insurance is a growth oriented commercial lines writer in Hawaii.  Currently DTRIC is realizing strong growth in agency submissions and is seeking an experienced professional underwriting assistant to support our Underwriters working within established procedures and under minimal supervision.  You will be part of DTRIC’s Underwriting Service Team committed to excellent service delivery to our General Agencies and Insureds. 
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of work experience in personal lines insurance.  College and/or industry education with courses related to required skills and knowledge may be substituted for work experience.

Commercial Underwriting Technician
DTRIC Insurance is a growth-oriented commercial lines writer in Hawaii and is currently experiencing stong expansion. We are seeking an experienced underwriting technician with the ability to work within established procedures and with minimal supervision to support our Commercial efforts. You will be part of an Underwriting Services team that is committed to delivering excellent service to our General Agencies and Insureds.  Minimum two years of commercial insurance experience, including customer service and phone usage, along with a high school diploma is required. Insurance course work is preferred. 

Reinsurance Accountant
DTRIC is looking for a highly motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented individual with good written and verbal communication skills.  Responsible for reviewing, preparing and processing premium and loss reports, and maintaining accounts and records of all aspects of reinsurance accounting.  Requires a minimum of one year accounting experience, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access and ability to work independently.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Vice President – Claims 

Enhance leadership and direction for all claims operations.  Active participant in board and executive responsibilities.  Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.  Minimum ten years claims experience and well versed in all lines for property and casualty coverage.  Minimum five years of management experience.  Expert knowledge of claims investigation, legal strategies, settlement strategies, local and global environment. 

 
Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

We’re seeking an experienced Claims Examiner for our Workers Compensation Department who will manage an inventory of workers compensation claims of complex cases with various levels of high exposure involved.  Responsibilities include contacting injured worker, employer and treating physician, establishing and maintaining adequate loss and expense reserves, conducting timely investigations, attending hearings and monitoring incoming medical reports.


Minimum of eight years workers compensation claims adjusting or relevant experience, active Worker’s Compensation Adjuster License and Bachelor’s degree required.  Personal vehicle, driver’s license and driving abstract also required.
