HAIP is hosting the Region VIII Conference in 2012 and has set a goal of raising $100,000 to do so.
Katharine M. Nohr, Esq., fundraising chairperson, presented this goal at the July 2009 membership meeting, requesting that each member commit to assisting with 2 fundraising tasks each year. Members are encouraged to attend the fundraising meetings, which are held the last Friday of each month (except for November and December) at the Plaza Club at 5:15pm.
The next fundraising project is the Insurance Fest, to be held at Dave & Busters Entertainment Center on October 10, 2010. We have cleverly called this The 10-10-10 Show.
Jan Reischel and Tracy Adams are the 2012 Conference Chairpersons, John Hoshino serves as the conference treasurer. Project Managers have been assigned as follows: Future Fundraisers will be:
