HAIP HORIZON PLAN

 

1.      MEMBERSHIP:

Ø      HAIP will provide continued value to individual members and promote member retention. 

Ø      HAIP will promote an increase in individual membership to 100 by 2009.

Ø      HAIP will continue to promote its corporate partner program, offering value to those companies who participate.

2.      EDUCATION

Ø      HAIP will continue to offer a diverse program that will include leadership development, self-improvement and all types of insurance classes, seminars, including online classes.

3.   LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Ø      HAIP will foster an avenue for leadership development for members' use within the association and in their careers.

Ø      HAIP will encourage participation in committees and leadership of its members at the Regional and International level of NAIW.

Ø      HAIP will actively encourage its participants to compete in CWC competitions and submit applications for regional and international awards, individually and as an association.

4.  BENEFICIAL PARTNERING

Ø      HAIP will develop relationships with organizations and associations that are beneficial to both.

5.  TECHNOLOGY

Ø      HAIP will optimize the use of technology to improve quality of service, maximize membership benefits and increase visibility in the industry.

6.    2012 REGION VIII CONFERENCE

Ø      HAIP will consider raising $75,000 for the 2012 Region VIII Conference a high priority and will take all actions necessary to meet or exceed this goal.

Ø      HAIP will establish leadership, committees, accountancy support and all other means necessary for raising funds for the 2012 Region VIII Conference. 

Ø      HAIP will establish leadership, committees, accountancy support and all other means necessary for organizing the 2012 Region VIII Conference so that it is a well run event that projects HAIP’s professional image.
